Myriam LEWKOWICZ is Full Professor in Informatics at Troyes University of Technology (France), where she is head of  Information System Management teaching branch and Tech-CICO research group (part of UMR CNRS 6281).

She is graduated from Univ. Paris 9 Dauphine (Master of Research - 1997) and achieved her PhD at Univ. Paris 6 Pierre et Marie Curie in 2000 on “Designing Groupware for cooperative Knowledge Management”. She obtained her Habilitation in 2012 at UTC on "The role of models in designing systems for mediated collective practices - methodological, conceptual and instrumental contributions to an interdisciplinary research in CSCW"

Her research focuses on designing systems for social interactions. It consists in defining systems to support existing collective practices or to design new collective activities. Her research is clearly interdisciplinary, and leads to reflections and propositions on analysis and design approaches which help defining new devices and services.  For 8 years now, her main application domain is Healthcare.

She is Program Committee Member of several scientific conferences in CSCW and HCI (CSCW, CHI, COOP, ECSCW, GROUP, C&T), member of the ActiveAgeing Living Lab board and VP of Madopa association.
